Community relationships.
Praise God for the recent Lion’s Den Event (Like a Christian “Shark Tank”) at Samford. There is a growing desire for collaboration in the community. Pray we will have more opportunities to encourage wise partnerships in the gospel!
Discipleship Groups and their Leaders.
Pray for our group leaders & members as they invite men (& women with WBL) to our outreach breakfast and luncheon this week. Pray that those invitations will be used by the Spirit and that God will draw people to Himself through the community and the messages shared at our events.
Special events /ministry.
Pray as Birmingham and Huntsville have outreach events this week with the former CEO of Sea World and Herschend Family Entertainment, Joel Manby (Huntsville is Thursday and Birmingham is Friday). He is the author of Love Works and appeared on the TV Show “Undercover Boss”. Pray for WBL Birmingham which has their “Faith and Work Showcase” event this Friday as well.
