Pray for Each Director: August, Bob, Jay, Nathan, Phil & Rob:
Pray that we would rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep this week as we have “divine appointments”. We give thanks for the blessings witnessed in others’ lives because, in the body of Christ, your brother’s/sister’s joy is your joy. Pray for us to remember that the work of Christ unites us to himself and it also unites us to everyone else who likewise belongs to Christ. Pray for unity in our ministries. Pray that the kindness of Christ would be on the tip of our tongues and the forefront of our minds.
Community Relationships
Pray for opportunities to connect with other churches and ministries in Birmingham, Jackson, and Huntsville too! Pray that WBL would be able to connect with the key female and male leaders that open more doors to women who need Christ, Christ-centered fellowship, more laborers, and more Ministry Partners.
Discipleship Groups and their Leaders
Pray for our Small Groups to have a spirit of unity in Christ. Pray that they would be committed to meeting with one another and for the distraction of “busyness” to be squashed this week. Pray for our 8 Leaders to keep sacred their personal time in the Word and prayer. As a result, they will generously pour out truth into their groups because they are first filled by the Living Water.
Special Events/Ministry
Please pray for WBL’s spring luncheon, April 17th. We have started marketing the event and are praying for at least 300 women to attend and hear the gospel through Lauren Sisler’s testimony.
