Jay comes to YBL with over 25 years in church ministry including two years as a corporate chaplain. Jay earned his bachelor’s degree in social studies education at Southeastern Louisiana University, and has a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, with emphases in student ministry and family counseling. His church ministry includes many years as a youth pastor as well as leading college and singles before “graduating” to adult discipleship and administrative leadership roles. Jay has been married to Nikki for 30 years, and they have two grown children, daughter Kasi (husband Jon) and son Jonathan (wife Katie). Jay has a passion for discipleship and leadership development based on Biblical principles. He has served as the YBL Jackson Executive Director since September, 2016.
