Jeremiah 31:3 “… I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued My faithfulness to you.”

God says that He loves us with an everlasting love. What an incredible statement. He also says in the New Testament that He loves us as much is His Son. Let’s list some of the ways that God loves us.

He loves us by sending His Son, His only begotten Son to save us from our sins. It is our only way to obtain salvation. (John 3:16)

God sent His Son into the world to live the perfect life, to experience all of our joys and sorrows. We have a High Priest who is gone through everything that we could go through. (Hebrews 4:15)

He loves us by being faithful. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 says, “He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it!”

He loves us enough to complete the work that He began in us. (Phil.1:6). It probably means He will have to take us through tough times.

He has sent His Holy Spirit to empower us, to convict us, to guide us into the Truth. The Holy Spirit glorifies the Father by uplifting the Son. (John 16:13,14)

He loves us by granting us forgiveness of sins. Not only does He forgive us, but He also displaces our sins; He remembers them no more. (Ephesians 1:7, Jeremiah 31:34, Hebrews 10:17)

He has given us the privilege of prayer. We have access anytime day or night into His throne room. We can come boldly before Him with our requests. (Hebrews 4:16)

He loves us enough to discipline us. Because He is our Father He will make sure that we are heading in the right direction. (Hebrews 12:6)

He gives us incredible blessings. God loves to bestow favor on His children. (I Corinthians 2:9, Ephesians 1:3).

We have the promise of heaven; to be with God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit forever. (John 14:1-3)

That doesn’t include His mercy, His grace, His sovereignty, His omnipotence, His omniscience and so many other attributes we could name. He is an awesome and loving Father- approachable, yet holy. We regard Him with reverential fear. Amen!

This ministry could not continue without your prayers, support, and involvement in so many ways. As we think of God’s incredible love for us, we stand amazed and we are full of joy. And I am deeply appreciative of you; for the many years of faithfulness that you have believed, loved and cared for this ministry. Thank you.
