- Pray for each Director August, Bob, Jay, Nathan, Phil & Rob – Pray that we will continue to be faithful in the daily work of shepherding leaders, modeling prayer and the lifestyle of a worker for Jesus whatever the present headlines or headwinds.
- Community relationships. Pray for continued planning and partnerships to develop as we think of the opportunities to show love and witness for Jesus in our cities – particularly for Birmingham as we prepare to host the World Games next year.
- Discipleship Groups and their Leaders. Pray for our leaders to continue to encourage and pour into their groups through texts, calls and one-on-ones.
- Special events /ministry. Wednesday morning YBL Birmingham has its final summer series event at Samford University, which is a panel of local businessmen discussing the great commandment. Specifically, we are focusing on “how to practically love people in the marketplace”. Pray for God to draw people to come, and for the conversation to clearly point to Jesus in how we live out our faith at work.
