Let the word of God wash over you, refresh you and revitalize you as you read this letter. May you be “like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields it’s fruits in its season and it’s leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers,” Psalm 1:3.

What the Scriptures say about God:
Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”
Revelation 1:8I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Hebrews 13:5b “for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’”

What the Scriptures say about us:
Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Jeremiah 31:3 “the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”
Ephesians 1:4 “even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.”

What God intends for us:
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”

There are literally hundreds of other verses that I could have chosen. Our God is awesome, loving, holy, and sovereign. We are weak, bull headed, idol worshippers. We chase after people, places, power, and fame that won’t satisfy. Our only hope, our joy, our love for ourselves and others, comes from the One who is our hope of glory.

This next month God has blessed us to have an array of speakers that boggles the mind. The Governor of Mississippi is speaking in Jackson. Gene Chizik is speaking in Huntsville. Mary Wyatt of Wyatt General Contractor is speaking at WBL, and John Aden, former Executive Vice President at Walmart is our speaker for YBL Birmingham. We should set record attendance in almost every place. Please pray for powerful messages, the impact of the gospel and the follow-up.

Let us not disappoint Him. Let us not dishonor Him. Let us live for Him, obey Him, seek Him, praise Him, glorify Him and enjoy Him in this life and forever. Thank Him for what He has already accomplished through you. Let’s finish well and strong!
