“Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life”. At the core of this statement is a beautiful understanding of the blessing of work, but how do you know when your work starts becoming an idol in your life? How do you know when your work becomes so tied to your identity that it hinders your relationship with God? Many people spend more time worrying about their career than about their Christian life. Maybe they think their job will save them or give them a better life, rather than the One who gave them that job in the first place.
