Pray For YBL and WBL Leadership

Pray for YBL & WBL Leadership, Rob, Drew, Sharon, and Chris: Pray that they will be intentional in their personal time in the word of God and prayer and that by doing so will be full of wisdom and grace in their ministry to others. 

Pray For Our Community Relations

Praise God for multiple ways to serve others in our communities – pray for wisdom to know how to best take advantage of service and partnership opportunities to show God’s love and make Jesus known in our cities.

Pray For Our Discipleship Groups and their Leaders

Pray specifically the Lord would provide an excellent leader for a WBL study beginning in October that is now in the planning process.  Pray for wisdom as several new groups are being discussed for the fall. Pray also for the people who have expressed the desire to join small groups as a result of our recent summer events. Pray for boldness and maturity in our people. Pray that we will reach out and connect to all who desire Gospel community.

Pray for Our Special Events/Ministry

Give thanks for the YBL Jackson Men’s Retreat last Friday and the messages J.D. Shaw brought to the group.  Although the weather looked grim, the rain held off enough for the men to enjoy two rounds of golf and a great opportunity for fellowship.

Pray for the upcoming YBL second Summer Series this Thursday, August 1.  Pray that the Lord will draw men to hear this excellent panel and that God’s truths will be front and center of all that is shared.  Continue to pray for the six-week WBL summer series, that women will take the truths taught and implement them in their thinking and living.  The remaining two studies are Wednesday, August 7 and 21.
