Pray For YBL and WBL Leadership

Pray for YBL & WBL Leadership, Rob, Drew, Sharon, and Chris: Pray that God would not just sustain them during the very active next few months but they would be “strengthened through His power in their inner spirits… and be filled to the measure…” (Ephesians 3:16-19).  May they not work out of their own strength but out of the strength God provides.

Pray For Our Community Relations

Pray that we would be givers within all our communities rather than takers. 

Pray For Our Discipleship Groups and their Leaders

Pray for the health and growth of all our small groups for the fall. Pray that men and women in the groups will not only be highly engaged in this new season but will also invite others to join them.

Pray for Our Special Events/Ministry

Pray for the YBL Jackson upcoming lunch next Wednesday, September 11, with Mark Whitacre, the largest corporate whistleblower in history, documented loosely in the Matt Damon movie, The Informant. Pray this week that believing men will invite unbelieving men to come.  Pray that God will give these men ears to hear the gospel and a heart willing to repent and submit to the Lord.

Pray for the YBL Fall Breakfast on October 3^rd. Pray that God will speak mightily through Terry Looper and draw men to Himself through this event.

Pray for the WBL Faith & Work Luncheon scheduled for October 9^th with Stephanie Franklin. Pray that God will spread the invitation far and wide throughout Birmingham and that women will come to hear the gospel and be encouraged.
