Community relationships
Praise God for a wonderful series of events at Samford University this summer. We continue to build better relationships with staff and students at this campus. Pray that we will make similar inroads at UAB, Birmingham Southern, and other local colleges.
Discipleship Groups and their Leaders
Pray for our discipleship group leaders as they re-launch their groups for the fall and reconnect with the men in their groups. Pray especially for those members who have drifted will make it a priority to reengage in study, prayer and accountability.
Special events /ministry
Pray for YBL Birmingham as we organize a short term men’s trip to Puerto Rico in late October. We will partner with several local churches to do hurricane relief and assist the local businessmen in understanding their work as a calling. Pray as we plan out the full itinerary, that God will draw the men who need to join us on this trip.
