In a world that tells us our value is in how much money we make, how well put together we appear, how often we have a home-cooked dinner on the table for our families, and how many followers we have on social media, it’s no surprise that we are constantly comparing ourselves to others. When we are consumed by this culture of comparison, the pressure to succeed grows, but we can find relief when we understand the Lord has uniquely created us in His image with different gifts. “We seek validation about our value and worth from God’s Word, rather than from how we might measure up to those around us.”
