God has called us to lead during a critical time in the life of our country. As some try to divide communities, we are called to love genuinely, to love with brotherly affection, to outdo one another in showing honor. Pray the Lord would help us love others well and honor them appropriately as we navigate cultural tensions.
Community Relationships
During this time of unrest and division in our country, we have an opportunity to demonstrate genuine love to those around us. During this time of confusion, where people are desperately looking for answers or clinging to false hopes, we can show our communities what it means to “abhor what is evil… and hold fast to what is good”. Pray the Lord will help us show the world how to simultaneously love one another and abhor evil. May the Lord help us to speak the truth in love.
Discipleship Groups & their Leaders
Pray for our group leaders as they continue to minister to their group members. May the Lord energize them in their work, and bring fruit from their efforts. Pray the Lord would help them overcome any discouragement they face due to the changed circumstances, and inability to gather as easily as we have the past.
Special Events/Ministry
YBL Huntsville is hosting their first banquet of the year on August 26 with guest speaker Richard Simmons. Please pray the event would go forward and the Lord would allow us to connect with many new businessmen in our community through this event.
