Pray For YBL and WBL Leadership 

  • Pray for YBL & WBL Leadership, Rob, Drew, Chris, Loring, and Sharon, along with all staff- Johnny, Ansley, Adrian, and Emma.  
  • Pray for all staff to use their time well- preparing and praying for future YBL/WBL events. 

Pray For Our Community Relations 

  • Pray for YBL and WBL to be beacon of light to the community-that we would be committed to truth, righteousness and excellent work, and that would draw many to want to learn about and follow God

Pray For Our Discipleship Groups and their Leaders 

  • Pray for men and women to join existing groups or show interest in forming new groups at their places of work. 
  • Pray for WBL Director, Sharon Head, as she leads a small group of young women on Monday evenings. Pray that these women would walk consistently with the Lord in obedience to His word. 
  • Pray for Chris Jones and the YBL Mentoring Committee as they match 41 men who have requested a mentor. Also pray for additional men to volunteer to be mentors. 

Pray for Our Special Events/Ministry 

  • Praise the Lord for the excellent turnout for YBL’s 2025 Fall Breakfast event. There were over 280 attendees, of which 22 expressed interest in joining a small group and 30 which are interested in being matched with a mentor. Please pray for the effective follow up with these men. 
  • Pray for the upcoming WBL Faith and Work Luncheon on Wednesday, September 24th at The Club. Pray for WBL staff, Sharon & Emma, to prepare thoroughly for the event and for the many women throughout Birmingham to attend and receive godly teaching. 
  • Pray for the WBL Single Working Women’s Event with Speaker Joanna Meyer, on September 24th from 6-7:30 p.m. at Beeson Divinity School. Women of all ages are invited to an evening of fellowship. Please pray for many single women to attend! 
  • Please pray for Team and Corporate Sponsors of YBL’s upcoming 36th Annual Golf Tournament to be held on Oct. 20th at the Inverness Country Club from 9:30 a.m.-4:30.
